Siemens F Class gas turbines – SGT5-4000F

Siemens most popular F class gas turbine is SGT5-4000F, which was entered into market in 1996. Since 1996 total of 360 of SGT5-4000 are being used on the sphere. As per Siemens, it has achieved 23 million EOH (equivalent operating hours) of fleet experience, and achieved 99% of reliability.

SGT5-4000F is at top in its class due to outstanding performance and excellent efficiency (its combined cycle efficiency is reached at about 62%). Maintenance flexibility has results in short outage and thus gas turbine achieved highest availability.
